 What are Heffle up to in 2026?
Below is information about our upcoming meeting activities:


27th January 2026:
Over the past 35 years Air Ambulance Kent Surrey Sussex (KSS) has attended over 46,000 incidents, saving lives and improving patient outcomes from the skies.

24th February 2026:
The Traditional Cheese Company, run by the Delves family, produce a range of award winning, handmade cheeses, using free-range, raw milk from their own farm based in Horam. 'Goodness comes from the ground'.


7th March 2026:
Join us with  friends and/or family to test your knowledge in our quiz in honour of World Book Day ( 5th March 2026).

24th March 2026:
Spring crafting and board games. Join us for a seasonal craft session or test your skills on our board games. Or both.

28th April 2026:
Down memory lane, Peter Willson's 60's pop talk is based on Alan Freeman's 'Pick of the Pops'. We'll have a chance to write our own pop songs and even take part in performing.

23rd May 2026:

We are delighted to be running our stall at the Heathfield Show again this year. Come and visit our tent where children can do some craft and there will be a bottle tombola.

26th May 2026:
The 2026 Annual Meeting followed by social activities. 

23rd June 2026:
Associated Country Women of the World was founded in 1929, to bring together rural women and their organisations. In so doing, ACWW addresses the challenges resulting from isolation of communities, discrimination against women and their lack of standing in political processes.


28th July 2026:
It's our birthday meeting , and we'll be celebrating this year with a  fun quiz /game to test your knowledge and thinking skills. 

25th August 2026:
Joanna Foat, who enthralled us last year with her talk about the LumberJills, is returning this time to tell us more about the life of Lady Denman, 1st president of the WI.

22nd September 2026:

27th October 2026:
Check back later for more details of our October meeting. 

24th November 2026:
Coming up to the festive season we will be having a winter crafting workshop.

15th December 2026: 
Christmas party time! More details to follow.

Additional Social Activities

As well as the items above, we regularly organise other social activities and trips which members can join in with on an optional basis. Examples of trips recently planned include Bowling, Theatre trips and Gliding. Check out the Gallery page for some photos.
